As an NDA Supporting Party the Republican Party of India Athawale will contest more than 25 seats across India and will contest only the Dhubri Lok Sabha seat in Assam. RPI Athawale has almost confirmed Rezaul Karim, president of the party's Assam state minority cell, as its candidate for the Dhubri Lok Sabha seat in Assam.
Rezaul Karim, a potential candidate of the RPI Athawale party from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency and president of the Assam State Minority Cell, who was present on behalf of Assam at the National Executive Committee meeting, he said in his speech that the Republican Party of India in shortly RPI Athawale’s chief or Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has already visited Assam several times.
