Guwahati : In the digital age, Sangbad Prahari
working as an indregnable sentry in Assamese language with the idea of
alternative media turns steps into the eighth year. Today is the seventh year
in line with this journey, starting from print media to the current web portal
or web media. This event organized in a formal event at the office in Hatigaon
in view of the covid-created environment. Organizing the felicitation ceremony the
Sangbad Prahari Award' was presented to senior journalist Snigdhashika Bora of
DY 365.
The event, conducted by editor Saiyad Bulbul Jamanur Houqe
honoured six eminent personalities from various fields including eminent writer
Dr Jatindra Nath Deka, Eminent doctor Dr Ramanand Pathak, Senior journalist
Shahjahan Talukdar, District Transport Officer Gautam Das, District Social Welfare
Officer Seemanta Pradeep Choudhury, Nayer Alga Zilla Parishad member Farida
Yasmin Miya with 'Samachar Prahari Special Honour'.
On the other hand on the occasion Retired Justice Vinay
Sharma, Poet-Writer Girish Chandra Deka, Prativa Burman, Teacher Manisha Haloi,
Teacher Ali Akbar Sikdar, Senior Journalist Wahidur Rahman Bora, Social
Activist Morzina Haque, Researcher Student Bhavani Das were felicitated with 'Sangbad
Prahari Special Felicitation'. This event maintained by Assamese Samahaar Executive
Editor Hanif Ali Ahmed, Associate Editor N. A. Rubul Mirja, Shakil Ahmed, Editor
of Adhuik Asom Akbor Majumder.
