Guwahati Traffic Police started a drive against noise pollution caused by unauthorised modifications in vehicle’s exhaust.

Taking it to Twitter, they said, “We don’t need no Sound Pollution, we don’t need no Silencer Modification.”Violation to this law, or creating sound pollution by unauthorised modification will lead to a fine of ₹10,000 as per MV Act.
