Four New schemes Announced By HBS To Uplift Assam Tea Industry.

4 new schemes have been announced by Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for the benefit and upliftment of the Assam Tea Industry.

1. If any tea industry takes a loan from any commercial bank as working capital, then Assam Government shall pay 3% interest of the total.

2. Orthodox Tea production, which is exported for international market , will receive Rs. 7 subsidy per kg from Assam Government from April 1st 2021.

3. If any new machines are required and bought by any Tea garden for producing Orthodox tea, then Assam Government shall pay 25% of the cost.

4. For the next 3 years, Agricultural Income Tax are not required to be paid by Tea Gardens.
