Guwahati : Founder of Projexel Foundation Seema Purkayastha Roy has organized “BHARATIYA NRITYA UTSAV” 2nd edition, All Indian Classical & Folk Dance Festival 2019, on 19th October’2019 at Guwahati Lions Eye Hospital Auditorium, Chartibari, Guwahati.
The festival was inaugurated by five renowned eminent personalities Kathak Guru Vijay Pd.Srivastva, Bharatnatyam Guru Nibedita Tarafdar, Odissi Guru Anjanamoyee Saikia, Ashmita Foundation President Debjani Patikar were among guest of honor.
India is home to many classical & folk dance forms. And enthusiasts in the city can enjoy seven of them on a single stage on 19th of October. Projexel Foundation, has hosted All Indian Classical & folk dance Festival 2019, in the name of “Bharatiya Nritya Utsav” 2nd edition which was seen a slew of performances of dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Sattriya, Odissi, Bihu, shaotali folk and very special new form Gaudiya Nritya all from Barak valley.
The objective of this festival is to encourage budding talent in the field of Indian Classical Dance & Music and give them an appropriate platform for showcasing their performance. Almost 80 young artist participated in the festival from very corner of India.
