Guwahati; April 28, 2017: Foodtech India -the largest business-to-business (B2B) exhibition in eastern region on food and hospitality industry, has now reached Guwahati! The first edition of North East Foodtech, the first-of-its-kind in the northeast, was inaugurated by Sri Atul Bora, state minister of Agriculture, Horticulture and Food Processing, at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre today. The three-day exhibition that starts today will end on April 30, 2017.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Atul Borastressed on the importance of having a premier B2B exhibition in the region and congratulated the organizers for setting up such a learning and sharing platform for the people involved in the bakery, hotel and food technology in the north east.
Organized and marketed by Delhi-based firm N K Kapur & Co Pvt Ltd, the exhibition has been supported by Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam and many big players in the field of Bakery & Confectionery, Processed Food, Sweet & snacks industry of the North East. The premier B2B (business-to-business) exhibition has three main segments namely Food Processing, Bakery & Confectionery and Hospitality sectors. Over the three days of the exhibition there would be seminars, conferences, product launches, buyer-seller meets, interactive sessions with students, culinary competitions and free-sampling.
