Democracy is dead, religion neutral is destroyed: Ajit Kumar Bhuyan
Sangbad Prahari Award- 2021 to Journalist Bhaskarjyoti Bora

Guwahati : The increasing anesthesia in the country is proof that democracy has died in the country recently and so has the destruction of religious neutralism. It is not the people's representatives who have been skilled in the name of the Constitution who have hesitated to insult the Constitution. In this case, however, some news houses and journalists have also been giving their hands.

They have not blamed all the news houses or journalists for which even the general public has now started abusing news organizations and journalists without considering the issues well. This comment is by Rajya Sabha MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan participating as the chief guest at the sixth year of the web portal Sangbad Prahari. Bhuyan also said that the importance of the portal after TV and TV after the paper recently is a matter of thought. Because, never thought that at one point the news would be in hand, it could be seen or heard whenever I thought. So it is not possible to imagine which direction the media will move in the next time. He further said that some media are currently busy oiling the government. In the meantime, news houses run by some truthful journalists are working in the interest of democracy and defense of democracy and de-literacy without any cover-up. In this case, however, the role of web portals like the Sangbad Prahari is noteless.
