k-pop Band BTS invited to deliver speech at 75th-United Nations General Assembly.

After creating history by becoming the first South Korean band to top the Billboards Top 100 music chart, BTS is all set to deliver a speech at the 75th United Nations General Assembly on September 23.

According to a Hollywood report, the septet has received an invitation to talk at the 75th UN General Assembly. The report also suggested that the Korean Committee for UNICEF has confirmed the same and the all-boys band will be addressing the difficulties that future generations may face due to Covid-19.

BTS band which comprises of RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope Jimin and Kim Taehyung were also a part of the 73rd UN General Assembly which was held in 2018. Back then, they had teamed up with an international organisation which aimed at ending violence against youth.

Meanwhile, the 75th UN General Assembly will be held digitally due to the ongoing pandemic. On the other hand, BTS has now even topped Billboards Global Excl US chart as well while continuing to retain the second spot on Top 100.
