Guwahati : Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi's health condition is currently stable. The same was informed by health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a press conference on 25th September.
Sarma also mentioned that a video conference was conducted with the Director of AIIMS, Dr. Randeep Guleria regarding Tarun Gogoi's health in the presence of his son and Member of Parliament Gaurav Gogoi and the team of doctors treating him.
While Dr. Guleria expressed satisfaction on the treatment administered, he also assured that a faculty of AIIMS would be sent to Assam to check on Gogoi's health.
Sarma informed that Tarun Gogoi's current oxygen saturation was maintained at 94.
Tarun Gogoi was admitted to GMCH on the morning of 24th September due to deteriorating health conditions and was later shifted to ICU. He also recently recovered from Covid-19.
