Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty's suspicious transactions with a PR agency under Enforcement Directorate's scanner

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Since his untimely demise, his fans and family members were demanding for a CBI inquiry. Recently, the Supreme Court announced its verdict and transferred the case to the Central Bureau of the investigation.

Currently, the CBI team is investigating the late actor’s case in Mumbai. They have already interrogated Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani , cook Neeraj and Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty.

Now according to a report by Times Now, Enforcement Directorate is suspicious of Rhea’s transaction with a PR agency to which Sushant had given money. It is being said that the PR agency transferred a large amount of money into Rhea’s account on July 4. Earlier, it was said that Sushant had given Rs. 48 lac to the PR agency. Have a look:

Meanwhile, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh has recently claimed that Rhea did not support the actor’s family, nor did she offer them condolences after his tragic demise. Talking about the same with IANS, he said, “Rhea has not cooperated with the family, she didn’t even offer condolences to the family when the mishap took place. Moreover, when the request for the CBI probe was made, they opposed it tooth and nail. She may have put out a video in support of the CBI probe but her legal team opposed the same strongly.”

He even said that Rhea will be summoned by the CBI only after it has done its spadework. “They are examining everybody and once they can do their homework properly then only they will start grilling Rhea,” he said. He also hinted at the possibility of Rhea’s arrest if she “does not cooperate with the investigation or gives evasive answers.”
