Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has been in the eye of the storm, braving criticism, bullying and even threats following the blame-game that started after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise on June 14.
Keeping in mind the wave of hate coming her way, many rumours have been doing the rounds on and off social media. One even alleged that director SS Rajamouli has decided to drop Alia from his next film ‘RRR’. Reports claimed that the makers were now considering roping in Priyanka Chopra for the role instead.
However, according to the latest reports, all these rumours have been crushed by Bhatt’s team who have stated that the actress is very much a part of the film and that she is currently in prep mode and has been getting acquainted with the Telugu language to perfect her part.
Alia along with fellow film industry folk including Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter among others have been facing flak from tolls and even fans of late actor SSR.
Meanwhile, ‘RRR’, will feature Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Samuthirakani, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran among others in lead roles.
The film’s shoot was put on hold owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Ajay was seen shooting his part before the lockdown, Alia is getting ready to head back to the sets after the lockdown restrictions were eased.
