Guwahati : Projexel Foundation is workings towards uplifting women organize gender sensitive plays and celebrated International Women's Day 2019 on 24 March at South Point School with the theme also supported by the hashtag #BalanceForBetter by felicitating five most successful women who curveda niche in their respective fields.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest Mrs.Sumita Adhikari, Mrs. Nibedita Tarafdar and Mrs.Lipika Singha and Mr. Rajiv Banik are other among guest of honor.
Projexel Foundation has honored with Women Achiever Projexel Award 2019 to Mrs. Dipanwita Mukherjee Khan(writer), Mrs. Mandira Chanda (Educationist), Mrs.Debjani Patikar (Journalist), Mrs.Asha Kakwani (Entrepreneur) and last but not least Mrs.Sangeeta Choudhury (Ex-Miss India)
There were also small cultural feast presented where audience witnessed quality performance by young established dancers (Priyanka Palit Nandy, Parijat Biswas, Pradnya Roy, Sangeeta's Group) and Singer Mrs.Suma Purkayastha accompanied with her daughter Jagrity Purkayastha at Tabla
Founder Mrs.Seema Purkayastha Roy mention that every year the Projexel Foundation will organize such event every year to dedicate to promote gender equality and women empowerment in the country considered as a step towards spreading awareness about the women rights and equality.
