National Human Rights Commission for open hearing on 17th & 18th May,2017

Guwahati: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) shall be holding 2 day Camp Sitting/ Open Hearing along with meeting with Government Officials and NGO’s on 17th & 18th May, 2017 at Guwahati for the State of Assam to consider the pending cases and to discuss important human rights issues pertaining to the State of Assam. The meeting will provide an opportunity to the Commission as well as the State Government to understand the points of each other. It will also provide an occasion to take stock of the action taken by the State on important issues concerning human rights.
